A member has been kind enough to provide postcodes for the meetings. Some people like to use them on a satnav, but remember that in rural districts a postcode covers a large area.
This could be confusing. Some members use the co-ordinates successfully in their satnavs.

Safety and Risks
Anyone intending to attend these forays should first read the safety page carefully. Safety and Risks

Unless otherwise stated, field meetings begin at 10.30 am.

New members who wish to attend a field meeting, please email, David Antrobus or ring John Williams a few days beforehand This will ensure that you do not turn up to a field meeting that has been cancelled or moved to a different location. If the weather is very bad indeed and you have not been contacted by email about last minute cancellation, you may wish to make further contact on the morning before the field meeting. Contact details.
For established members there are specific contacts for each meeting.

Beginners and people with a general interest are most welcome but would experienced mycologists, after a field meeting, please check 'A Fungus Flora of Warwickshire' and the additions to the Flora to confirm that any of the less-common species that you have collected have already been recorded for the County. If they have not, please keep dried material for the herbarium.

Please send lists of species that you have found on the forays in Warwickshire to Mr A.W. Brand, 14 Bishopton Lane, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9JN or David Antrobus. Where possible, please state the habitat and associated trees and plants for each record.

If you find an interesting fruiting of fungi, and think that others would be interested, please contact John Williams. It may be possible to arrange a field meeting at short notice.

Permission has been obtained from landowners to collect for scientific purposes. In the interests of conservation, please do not collect more specimens than necessary for your personal use. We do not encourage collection for culinary purposes on our forays. The Warwickshire Fungus Survey is affiliated to the British Mycological Society.
